Amazing Antarctica, etc. -- South Georgia Island (2 of 3)

We returned to the Antarctic region in November & December 2024. This 11-minute video highlights our visits to South Georgia Island and the landings at St. Andrews Bay and Gold Harbour. We have never experienced a bigger concentration of wildlife than at these two locations. We understood why these locations are also known as the Serengeti of the Antarctic. This is the home to the largest king penguin colonies in the world. These locations are also covered with elephant and fur seals.
