Gastonia & Hickory 2012 Pioneer Trek Part 2

This 10-minute video documents the start of the trek (pulling of handcarts) for the 2012 Youth Conference of the Gastonia & Hickory Stakes (in North Carolina) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over 200 youth participated in this three-day pioneer trek experience -- the pulling & pushing of handcarts over a 15-mile trail -- as a mini-reenactment of the experiences of the Mormon pioneers who crossed the plains.
