Backpacking on Appalachian Trail June 2013

This 8-minute video shows highlights of a three-day, two-night backpacking trip along the Appalachian Trail in June 2013. The hike started at Hughes Gap near Roan Mountain, TN., skirted the North Carolina/Tennessee border and ended on the road close to the Overmountain shelter. The nights were spent at the Roan High Knob Shelter and at Overmountain. Video shot with a compact digital camera -- Nikon S8100, 1080 30p.
